Paille will join a number of forwards who will be competing for what might only be one spot on the Blackhawks’ NHL roster. Paille has the potential to likely fill a bottom-six role. The Blackhawks open camp at the University of Notre Dame on Friday.

The Blackhawks will also have defenseman Jan Hejda at training camp on a professional tryout agreement.
