Rapid Reaction: Bulls 103, Knicks 90

NEW YORK -- Let's take a quick look at how the Chicago Bulls earned a 103-90 win over the New York Knicks on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden.

How it happened: Derrick Rose scored 26 points and Luol Deng had 23. As usual, the Bulls ramped up their defensive pressure in the second half and picked up another win by closing out the game in the second half. Carlos Boozer had a big night as well, scoring 14 points and pulling 22 rebounds.

What it means: People will view this game differently. The Bulls played hard again, but did it come at too much of a cost? Ronnie Brewer injured his wrist and left the game in the first half. Joakim Noah tweaked his ankle in the fourth quarter and did not return -- although it appeared he could have. Luol Deng played 44 minutes. Tom Thibodeau said he would take his foot off the gas and he didn't. The question people will ask after this one is, despite getting the win, should he have?

Stat of the night: Bulls started the third quarter on a 26-2 run.

What's next: The Bulls finish off their regular-season schedule Wednesday night against the New Jersey Nets. It will be interesting to see how much the starters play in the finale.
