Rondon to paternity list, Strop activated

MILWAUKEE -- Chicago Cubs closer Hector Rondon has been placed on the paternity leave and pitcher Pedro Strop has been activated from the disabled list to take his place.

Strop last pitched in a game on May 6 but had to leave due to a groin injury he suffered a few days prior. He has one save and a 4.97 ERA in 15 appearances this season.

Rondon will miss up to three games due to the birth of his child. Reliever Wesley Wright just returned from paternity leave after the birth of his daughter, Harlem Rose.
