The Friendly Confines just got a little friendlier -- at least for the hometown ballplayers. Jesse Rogers toured the new state-of-the-art facilities in the Chicago Cubs' clubhouse at Wrigley Field on Tuesday.

The Cubs unveiled their new state-of-the-art underground facilities at Wrigley Field on Monday, including a new circular clubhouse, which looks part nightclub -- it has the lighting for it -- and part spaceship. The team believes it has built something unmatched in baseball. Read more here.

The Cubs' new locker room includes "mood lighting" depending on the situation or time of day. They decided on a circular locker room to create a sense of equality among the players. The stars and the role players get the same treatment. Watch the video.
