Hawk Harrelson to miss upcoming White Sox road trip

CHICAGO -- Chicago White Sox television broadcasts will sound a bit different over the next 11 days as Hawk Harrelson will miss the upcoming road trip because of a minor surgical procedure.

Chicago Bulls radio play-by-play man Chuck Swirsky will handle the call on the trip through four American League cities, along with color commentator Steve Stone.

The White Sox will start the road trip Monday at Toronto. From there they will head to Baltimore for Thursday’s makeup doubleheader before moving on to Houston and Texas.

The White Sox will play 11 games on their 11-day excursion, with only one off day, on June 1 between the series at Houston and Texas.
