With the Cincinnati Bengals' organized team activities (OTAs) now about a week away, let's take a quick look at a few of their remaining key offseason dates:
Monday-Friday: Phase 2 of the voluntary offseason workout program continues with rookies and veterans.
Thursday-Sunday: NFLPA Rookie Premiere. Invited rookies (typically first- and second-rounders) must be permitted by their respective teams to attend the event held annually in Los Angeles. In years past, Jeremy Hill and AJ McCarron have been among the Bengals to attend.
May 23-25: NFL spring league meetings in Charlotte, North Carolina.
May 24-26: First series of voluntary OTA practices, as Phase 3 of the offseason workout program begins.
May 31-June 2: Second session of voluntary OTA practices.
June 7-9: Third session of voluntary OTA practices.
June 14-16: Mandatory rookie and veterans minicamp; at the end of it, the team breaks for the summer.*
June 19-25: NFL rookie symposium in Aurora, Ohio.
*The start of training camp still hasn't been announced, but it typically will be sometime in late July. Unlike other practices during the year, practices at the start of training camp will be open to the public.
