Bengals WR A.J. Green: Fatherhood is 'unbelievable'

CINCINNATI -- Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green was red-eyed and tired on Thursday afternoon, but he couldn't keep the smile off his face.

Green and his wife Miranda's first child, Easton Ace Green, was born around noon on Wednesday after 36 hours of waiting. Green was absent from practice that day to attend the birth, and had there been a game that day (the original due date was Sept. 30), he happily would've missed that too.

"It feels great, unbelievable, unbelievable feeling," he said.

Twenty-four hours into fatherhood, Green said he already felt like a changed person.

"Just to see him come out and he's crying, and when you hold him, he looks so innocent," he said. "You see this guy, and you're going to have to raise him, that's yours till death do y'all part.

"You helped create that and you're going to have to show him the ropes."
