Bengals' Andy Dalton back on injury report for second week

CINCINNATI -- Getting sacked 29 times in one season would take its toll on any quarterback.

It looks like Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is getting to that point.

Dalton was listed on the injury report for the second straight week with a right shoulder injury (his throwing shoulder). Dalton was limited in Wednesday's practice.

If Dalton follows last week's pattern, he will return to taking the full amount of snaps in practice on Thursday. Dalton wasn't listed on last Friday's injury report, although the Bengals typically have only a walk-through on that day.

Dalton was also on the injury report in Week 3 with a hip issue that was the result of a hit from a Steelers player in Week 2.

Although Dalton hasn't missed a snap due to injury, it will be notable to see how it affects his throws in the coming weeks. Dalton spoke to the media prior to practice on Wednesday, so he was unable to comment on his practice status.

Wide receiver A.J. Green (hamstring) did not practice on Wednesday and did not appear to be at the facility. The news is not a surprise, as Green has a strained hamstring and has already been declared out for the week.

Also not practicing: Dre Kirkpatrick (knee), Brandon LaFell (knee), C.J. Uzomah (calf), Andrew Whitworth (not injury related), Shawn Williams (hamstring).

Limited: Clint Boling (shoulder), Clark Harris (groin), Josh Shaw (hip).
