Joe Haden says he is '100 percent' cleared from concussions

Joe Haden made it known to the world that he is completely cleared from the NFL concussion protocol and he will be back and ready to go in 2016.

Haden posted the news on his Instagram account.

The Cleveland Browns cornerback had two concussions in 2015 and missed 10 games because of them. The second occurred when he was inadvertently kicked in the jaw by Michael Floyd against Arizona.

That led to some uneasy days for the Pro Bowl cornerback when he was sensitive to light and noise, and fighting dizziness.

He got so bad he visited the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's sports concussion specialists. They diagnosed the kind of concussion Haden had, and helped with his treatment.

"I never had (a concussion), and I wasn’t used to going through anything like this," Haden said. "I wasn’t used to having to be hidden in my house. I was in the crib for about a month and a half to two months. They say when you’re in the protocol, don’t be out and don’t let anyone see you."
