Cowboys make practice squad move

IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys signed linebacker Mister Alexander to the practice squad, filling the vacancy created when defensive end Kenneth Boatright was called up to the active roster last week.

Alexander had spent time this season on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ practice squad. He played for the Omaha Mammoths of the FXFL as well. Alexander spent 2011-12 with the Houston Texans.

The Cowboys signed Boatright to a three-year deal when he was called up from the practice squad through 2016. He was inactive in Sunday's win against the Philadelphia Eagles.
