Lance Dunbar feeling better, shouldn't be out long

OXNARD, Calif. -- Running back Lance Dunbar was a spectator Thursday after suffering a right ankle sprain on Wednesday. Dunbar said he was feeling better after being in a walking boot earlier in the day.

"He should be fine," executive vice president Stephen Jones said. "We'll just see whether it’s a week or whatever it is. Shouldn’t be long though."

Even though Darren McFadden is still day to day with a hamstring injury, Jones said the Dallas Cowboys won’t add a running back to the roster.

Joseph Randle, Lache Seastrunk and Gus Johnson are the only tailbacks practicing. Fullback Tyler Clutts had to take snaps as the Cowboys worked through their hurry up offense on Thursday.

Wide receiver Devin Street (ankle) did not practice but he said he anticipates being able to work on Saturday with the Cowboys off Friday.
