Jason Garrett is too busy wondering about Dez Bryant's surgically repaired right foot to be concerned about the wide receiver’s new pet monkey.
Bryant introduced Dallas Bryant to the world on Wednesday via Instagram, but the Cowboys coach was unaware of Bryant’s newest addition.
“I don’t follow Instagram,” Garrett said.
What about Twitter?
“I don’t,” he said.
But Bryant isn’t the first Cowboys receiver to have a pet monkey. Oronde Gadsden, who was with the team in 1995 and ’96, had a monkey named Malik that would hang out at the team’s Valley Ranch facility from time to time. In 1996, Malik made his way to training camp but was sent home because of the no-pets policy at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
