Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee examined for a concussion

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee left the game early in the third quarter to be evaluated for a concussion.

Lee was hurt on a 3-yard catch by former teammate DeMarco Murray on the Eagles’ first play of the second half. He initially appeared to be examined for a neck injury before he was given the cognitive tests by the Cowboys’ doctors. After the Eagles scored a touchdown on the drive, Lee made his way to the locker room.

He suffered a concussion against New Orleans on Oct. 4 and did not return to that game but was in the lineup the following week.

Anthony Hitchens replaced Lee on the drive, but he hurt his ankle on Ryan Mathews' touchdown run and is questionable to return.

Without Lee and Hitchens, Andrew Gachkar is working in the Cowboys’ nickel defense.
