Chandler (back spasms) out vs. Thunder

DALLAS -- Back spasms will sideline Mavericks center Tyson Chandler for Sunday night's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

"Not serious, but he's not going to be able to play tonight," Mavs coach Rick Carlisle said, indicating that Chandler's status would be considered day-to-day.

This is the first game this season that Chandler will miss. He is averaging 11.1 points and a team-high 11.9 rebounds and serves as Dallas' defensive anchor.

Depth at center has been a concern for the Mavs since including backup Brandan Wright in the package sent to Boston for Rajon Rondo. Greg Smith, who is averaging 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in limited playing time this season, is the only healthy true center on the roster with Chandler ailing.
