Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones finished up a 30 minute press briefing with reporters on Tuesday and said he's committed to wide receiver Miles Austin and safety Gerald Sensabaugh.
Both players are restricted free agents, who just returned to Valley Ranch for voluntary offseason workouts. Austin came back last week and Sensabaugh on Monday.
"I know we want to sign them to long term contracts," Jones said before a speaking engagement for the SMU Athletic Forum. "Let's be real clear about that. Both of them are long-term players in my mind with the Cowboys other than that I wouldn’t give you a status report I wouldn’t."
The status report concerns their contracts.
Nothing is going on at this stage.
