The organized team activities will get going again around 11 a.m. at Valley Ranch, and a few players are expected to return to the practice fields today after missing time for a variety of reasons.
Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (elbow surgeries) should practice in some fashion today. He hasn't participated in the OTAs to this point and was working out in Atlanta. Ratliff, sporting a mohawk (looking like B.A. from the "A-Team"), watched Tuesday's practice from the sidelines.
Wide receiver Dez Bryant (hamstring) missed Tuesday's session, but said he needed a day of rest. He's supposed to return today.
"It's not a pull or anything," coach Wade Phillips said. "But just like the rest of our players, anybody that has any kind of strain or anything we keep him out. We expect him back [Wednesday]."
Defensive end Stephen Bowen missed Tuesday's session to attend the funeral of Joe Gardi, his college coach at Hofstra.
