INDIANAPOLIS -- Already playing with a bruised back and a sprained left ankle, Dez Bryant suffered a right leg injury on a fourth-quarter kick return against Indianapolis.
Bryant was taken directly to the locker room by the medical staff, which is not a good sign. He did not put any pressure on his right leg as he was carried off. Earlier, Bryant had a kickoff return to the Indianapolis 16 called back because of a holding penalty. He has one catch for 14 yards after being held without a catch on Thanksgiving by New Orleans.
Bryant’s rookie season has been filled with dazzling plays and injuries. He missed all five preseason games with a high right ankle sprain. He has also played through bruised ribs.
