Tashard Choice not practicing

IRVING, Texas -- While Jason Garrett will not announce who will start at tailback on Sunday at Philadelphia, the Cowboys coach might not have a choice.

Tashard Choice did not have his helmet on the practice field Friday and Felix Jones missed his third straight day of practice with an ankle injury, leaving DeMarco Murray as the de facto starter.

Murray ran for a franchise record 253 yards last week against St. Louis with a 91-yard touchdown in the first quarter. Choice suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter, which led to a fumble, and he did not have a snap the rest of the game. Phillip Tanner had six carries for 34 yards and a touchdown. He is also slowed by a tight hamstring.

Choice was limited in Wednesday’s and Thursday’s practice.
