Mat McBriar (ankle/foot) can't finish game

PHILADELPHIA -- Punter Mat McBriar plans to see a medical specialist after a nerve condition in his left ankle and foot caused him to leave Sunday night's game.

McBriar did not play in the second half after averaging 38.7 yards on three punts against the Eagles. Rookie kicker Dan Bailey replaced McBriar, averaging 39.5 yards on two punts.

The Cowboys listed McBriar as having a left foot injury after the ailment started bothering him during practice this week. However, he said the pain is in his ankle.

"I couldn’t really do anything on it," McBriar said. "I gave it a shot. We thought we’d get through this game. I kicked yesterday and it felt fine. It was a little bit of a surprise that I upset it today."
