ARLINGTON, Texas -- Cowboys linebacker Ernie Sims is out for the rest of Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh because of a concussion.
Sims was hurt on a first-quarter kickoff that resulted in a touchback after the Cowboys took a 3-0 lead. He went through a sideline concussion test before heading to the locker room.
With Sims out the Cowboys have Dan Connor and Alex Albright to play in the base defense. Brady Poppinga started the game with the Cowboys opening in a 4-3 look.
