Cowboys released practice squad DT Robert Rose

The Cowboys released defensive tackle Robert Rose from the practice squad on Tuesday.

Rose, 6-4, 291 pounds, was signed last week.

The Cowboys have seven players on the practice squad: Wide receiver Andre Holmes, wide receiver Tim Benford, cornerback Vince Agnew, safety Micah Pellerin, linebacker Brashton Satele, guard Ronald Leary and tight end Andrew Smith.

NFL teams can have a maximum of eight players on a practice squad.

Update: The Cowboys signed 6-4, 288 pound defensive end Ike Igbinosun to fill the vacant practice squad spot Tuesday afternoon. He was with the Pittsburgh Steelers in training camp until he was released on Aug. 31.

And don't think Igbinosun's first name is Ike. It's Ikponmwosa.
