Injury report: Jermey Parnell misses practice

OXNARD, Calif. -- The Cowboys have another player out because of a hamstring.

  • Backup tackle Jermey Parnell missed Tuesday's first full-padded practice with a hamstring injury. Parnell said he's going to undergo a MRI. The Cowboys have four players nursing hamstring injuries less than a week into training camp.

  • Wide receiver Danny Coale (knee), tight end James Hanna (hamstring), guards Ronald Leary (calf), Nate Livings (foot), Mackenzy Bernadeau (hamstring) and Demetress Bell (conditioning test), deep snapper LP Ladouceur (calf), defensive lineman Ike Igbinosun (lower leg), defensive tackle Jay Ratliff (hamstring), wide receiver Lavasier Tuinei (conditioning test) and defensive end Tyrone Crawford (torn Achilles) missed practice.

  • Center/guard Ryan Cook returned to practice on Tuesday in a limited basis after passing the conditioning test. Livings has passed the test but wouldn't reveal when he's expected to return.

There were some positive signs from several players, Livings, Leary and Bernadeau especially, who ran sprints during the afternoon practice, meaning the start of their practice time could be coming soon.
