IRVING, Texas – Tony Romo has had a week to sleep on his three-interception effort in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers. So far in his career, he has not followed up a poor game with another poor game.
Now, he hasn't set the world on fire in the follow-up contests (just two 300-yard passing games) but he hasn't given the games away either (15 touchdowns, eight interceptions). The Cowboys are 5-5 in the games after Romo throws three interceptions.
The Cowboys will do their best to protect Romo with the running game, but Tennessee offers a good test against the run and the pass and is confident after its season-opening road victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
I predicted 8-8 to start the year, so it is only right the Cowboys get to 1-1.
My pick: Cowboys 27, Titans 23
