Phillips isn't worried about Crayton

IRVING -- Patrick Craytonhas plans to miss his second consecutive week of organized team activities.

The Cowboys wide receiver wants a trade because the club drafted Dez Bryantand Crayton feels his playing time will be reduced.

Does this bother coach Wade Phillips?

Not really. He would prefer Crayton to show up for OTAs because it not only helps the player but the team as well. If Crayton does show up, he plans on coming to the mandatory workouts in early June, and impresses the coaches, he stays, if not, another team might pick him up.

"I don't think it's a setback mentally, as long as he stays in shape, physically I think it's fine," Phillips said.

Crayton wasn't the only player to miss OTAs on Monday.

Here's the rundown:

Wide receiver Terrell Hudgins (skin graft)

Wide receiver Sam Hurd(limited with thumb)

Safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (shoulder, should be ready for training camp)

Linebacker Keith Brooking(recovering from knee surgery, might return for veteran minicamp)

Linebacker Stephen Hodge(recovering from micro fracture surgery)

Wide receiver Nick Tow-Arnett (undisclosed injury)

Nose tackle Jay Ratliff (recovery from elbow surgery)
