Houston Dynamo takes home El Capitan with 1-0 win

FC Dallas dropped a 1-0 home loss to Houston Dynamo allowing the neighbors from the south to take home El Capitan with the series win. Geoff Cameron notched the game's loan goal of a Brad Davis corner in the 87th minute.

FCD continies to struggle in front of net. With more than their share of play FCD out shoot Houston 19 to 11, but in what has been a recent trend, didn't get any goals to show for it. Dallas hit the post three times but was unable to convert.

"Sometimes the ball bounces right for you," said FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman after the game. "Sometimes a whole bunch bounces right for you. Sometimes they bounce poorly for you. Sometimes a whole bunch bounces poorly for you. The last stretch of games we have had, a whole bunch has not bounced right for us. The ball was bouncing right for us earlier in the year."

Even with the loss, FC Dallas (13-10-7, 46 points) remains fourth in the Western Conference standings and would host the Portland Timbers in a wild-card play-in match at Pizza Hut Park, if the regular season ended today.
