With Friday night’s 6-3 loss in New Jersey the Dallas Stars fell to 0-6 in the second game of back-to-back sets this season.
“We think tonight’s game has some learning lessons in it,” Stars coach Glen Gulutzan said after the loss to the Devils. “We are going to play two-in-twos, we’ve got a ton coming in February and our record is now 0-6. We have to learn, even when you don’t have your legs or whatever, that you have to play a certain way.”
In those six games they’ve lost in the second end of back-to-backs, the Stars have been outscored by a 24-8 margin.
The Stars have eight more back-to-backs this season, including four in February and two each in January and March.
