The Dallas Stars fell 3-2 in a shootout to the Calgary Flames on Thursday night at American Airlines Center. Alex Tanguay scored with 1:21 left in regulation to tie the game for the Flames and then scored the only goal of the shootout. Mike Ribeiro and Brenden Morrow scored for the Stars.
