The Vancouver Canucks used 44 saves from goaltender Cory Schneider and three power-play goals to beat the Dallas Stars, 4-1, at American Airlines Center on Friday night. The loss was the fourth in the last five games (1-3-1) for the Stars.

Brenden Morrow scored the lone goal for the Stars. Kari Lehtonen started the game and was pulled late in the second period after allowing four goals on 14 shots. Andrew Raycroft played the final 23:10 and stopped all eight shots he faced.
