Burish, Barch, Sawada out for Saturday

Stars forwards Adam Burish, Krys Barch and Ray Sawada - all injured in last night's game in Boston - are heading back to Dallas today to get checked out by doctors. To take their place in the lineup Travis Morin will be rejoining the team and the Stars will be recalling Francis Wathier and Colton Sceviour from the Texas Stars.

"All three are going back to Dallas and won't play tomorrow," Stars coach Marc Crawford said Friday morning.

Crawford said he wasn't exactly sure of what the injury was to Burish, whether it was a nose or an orbital bone injury. Burish was injured in a fight with Boston defenseman Andrew Ference, continued to play and eventually left the game.

Crawford didn't want to give specifics on the Barch injury until he gets checked out by a doctor. It was said to be an eye injury during last night's game. Barch left after fight with Bruins forward Shawn Thornton.

Sawada, who has hit in the head by Boston forward Daniel Paille, has a broken nose and a shoulder sprain.

"His arm is in a sling. He looked like a mess last night," Crawford said. "It's unfortunate for him. He's just a kid trying to play the game."

Paille is facing a possible suspension. According to ESPN.com's Pierre Lebrun, Paille has a hearing scheduled for later today.

Morin, who fainted prior to the trip to Boston and did not travel with the team, is fine.

"He was cleared to play yesterday," said Crawford. "The episode that happened was really nothing."

Wathier has already been up with the Stars. This will be the first NHL call up for Sceviour, a fourth round pick (112th overall) in 2007.
