SURPRISE, Ariz. -- The Rangers come into spring training with a few injuries to keep an eye on. That includes Scott Feldman, who had microfracture surgery on his right knee right after the season. Feldman said the knee has showed steady improvement, but he isn't expected to be ready for Opening Day. Feldman wouldn't put a timetable on it, but the Rangers don't expect him to get on a mound until late March, so it could be May before he's ready. Other injury notes:
* RHP Brandon Webb said he feels good and is expecting a normal spring training now that he's more removed from the shoulder surgery he had back in August 2009. The Rangers will make sure he's cautious to avoid rushing things like he did last year.
* RHP Dave Bush, who was hit in the right triceps by a line drive in 2009, said he feels completely healthy now. He said the dip in velocity caused by the injury (he was on the DL for the first time because of it) isn't an issue now as he saw that velocity go up as last season progressed.
* RHP Alexi Ogando's oblique strain has healed and he's been throwing since Dec. 1.
