SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Rangers pitcher Brandon Webb threw 58 pitches in a bullpen session prior to Monday's game with the Diamondbacks and was pleased with his fastball.
Webb said it was the best one he's thrown all spring and was happy with the velocity and life he had on the ball. That's certainly encouraging.
He'll likely keep going with the bullpen sessions, but the club is figuring out what his next step may be.
