Injuries: Yu Darvish (back), Alexi Ogando (hand)

ARLINGTON, Texas -- We'll have more on this later, but two Rangers pitchers came away banged up from Sunday's win.

Starter Yu Darvish has a stiff back, a result of the flu bug going around the clubhouse. He complained of the issue after the fifth inning. Darvish was getting treatment on his back after the game but seemed to walk fine in the clubhouse.

"I'm pretty sure he wanted to go back out there, but now is not the time to (force it)," Michael Young said. "We were in good shape as a team at that point and our 'pen has been doing a great job and get him the rest he needs to get him ready for his next start."

Reliever Alexi Ogando came out of the game in the eight inning after being struck on the right (pitching) hand by a line drive from Brett Lawrie's bat. He's listed as day-to-day after X-rays were negative.
