Rain delays Rangers-Yankees start

NEW YORK -- The Yankees have announced that Wednesday's game against the Rangers will not start at 6:05 p.m. CT, as originally scheduled because of rain. The Yankees have not announced a start time.

The tarp has been on the field since 5 p.m. CT and the rain has been steady for at least an hour.

According to Weather.com, the rain is expected until at least 7 p.m. CT. The site says there is a 55% chance of rain from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a 10% chance of rain from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
