When will he be here?: The Rangers paid a record $4.5 million to sign Mazara from the Dominican Republic in 2011 because of his potential. Expect him to progress in Frisco this summer with a possible move to Triple-A in the second half of the year. Mazara developed a toe-tap before he swings and that allowed him to become a better hitter.
What they’re saying: “He has the bat speed and loft to provide plenty of home runs, though like many of Texas' top position prospects, he'll need to tone down his aggressiveness.
