Texas A&M said that the football team scrimmaged Sunday at Kyle Field for approximately two hours.
“Overall, I thought it was a good job today and we made progress,” coach Mike Sherman said in a press release from the school. “After the first series, I thought the defense stepped up its play. They did a good job of getting the offense in third and long situations and then getting off of the field. This tape will give us plenty to work on and I expect the players to correct the mistakes made today.”
Linebackers Von Miller and Jonathan Stewart were singled out for their performance.
Alumni Tank Marshall and Ray Childress were on hand for the practice.
The Aggies will have an open practice at 8:25 a.m. Monday on the Coolidge Grass Practice Fields.
