CHARLOTTETOWN, Prince Edward Island -- Two periods down at the Stars intrasquad scrimmage at the Charlottetown Civic Centre and Team White and Team Black are tied 3-3.
Brenden Morrow scored the first two goals for Team White to tie the game at 2-2. Morrow scored from the bottom of the right circle 5:41 and then from close range at the 9:19 mark. Mike Ribeiro assisted on both goals.
Toby Petersen gave Team White a 3-2 lead, knocking a pass from Jace Coyle into the empty side of the net about midway through the period.
After that goal both teams made changes in net. Richard Bachman replaced Kari Lehtonen, who stopped 18 of 21 shots for Team Black and Brent Krahn replaced Andrew Raycroft, who stopped 8 of 10 shots for Team White.
Team Black tied the game with 5:06 left in the period when Krahn came out towards the blue line to play a puck, turned it over and Fabian Brunnstrom put the puck in the empty net.
