CHARLOTTETOWN, Prince Edward Island -- The word from Stars coach Marc Crawford is that center Tom Wandell suffered a sprained shoulder in Sunday's scrimmage at the Charlottetown Civic Centre and he will be evaluated either later today or tomorrow.
Wandell, who hit the boards hard early in the scrimmage after a hit by Mark Fistric, had the shoulder iced down after the game.
"It's a shoulder sprain or something like that," Wandell said. "A couple weeks maybe. We'll see more tomorrow. ... Just went into the boards, kind of bad luck."
