SURPRISE, Ariz. -- We just got out of the Rangers' clubhouse and here are few notes:
* Eddie Guardado was walking around the clubhouse saying hello to a bunch of former teammates, coaches and front office personnel. But it doesn't appear he's back to compete for a bullpen spot in 2010 with the Rangers or anyone else. Guardado has a home in Chandler, Ariz.
"I think I'm done, man, I think I'm done," Guardado said. "I'm fine with it. I had a great run, no doubt."
Guardado wants to stay in the game in some capacity, but isn't sure what exactly that would be or when.
"I've got a lot of knowledge I can share," Guardado said.
I can tell you Guardado was always one of the best guys in the Rangers' clubhouse. He kept everybody loose and picked guys up.
* 2B Ian Kinsler will not hit off a tee today. Assistant general manager Thad Levine said that's not a setback, but the club wants to be extra careful with Kinsler. He could hit off a tee Monday or Tuesday. He's still doing light jogging, weight lifting and throwing, though.
* RHP Neftali Feliz will pitch in a "B" game on Monday in Maryvale against the Brewers at 10 a.m. Arizona time. The Rangers want to keep him in his same routine, but he appears to be headed to the bullpen to start the season barring something unforeseen in the next few weeks.
* The club sent Ray Olmedo to minor league camp on Sunday.
