The Rangers have agreed to terms with RHP Luke Jackson, the club's supplemental first-round pick (45th overall) in the 2010 draft, for a $1.545 million bonus. Jackson, from Calvary Christian High School in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., will head off to compete in the Arizona Rookie League.
Jackson was 8-0 with a 0.90 ERA with 87 strikeouts and three shutouts and two saves. He had two homers and 21 RBIs as a hitter as well. Jackson was rated No. 87 in ESPN.com's Top 100 pre-draft list.
The Rangers have agreed to terms with 37 of the club's 53 selections in this year's draft, including its top 20 picks.
