Houston Texans planning joint practices with Washington Redskins

HOUSTON -- The Houston Texans are planning joint practices with the Washington Redskins in Virginia.

This will mark the second year Texans' coach Bill O'Brien will conduct joint practices during training camp. Last season the Texans traveled to Denver for practices before their preseason matchup and they hosted the Atlanta Falcons before playing them in the preseason.

They do not face the Redskins in this year's preseason, but O'Brien is a fan of these joint practices and will hold them anyway.

They had planned to practice in New Orleans with the Saints, but New Orleans pulled out after the Texans announced their participation in "Hard Knocks."
