Manuel, who is from Sugar Land, Texas, won four medals for the United States and served as the coin toss captain for Sunday's game.
"Oh, it was great," Hopkins said. "Me and somebody who represents our country in the way she does, and what she's accomplished so far in her career. I'm pretty sure she has a lot more in store, though."

The Olympian said she had a lot of fun being at NRG Stadium for the game.
“This experience is great," Manuel said. "It’s really exciting to be honored by Houston and have all this support throughout this whole journey.”
