OL Joe Haeg, DL David Parry earned the most extra money among Colts

INDIANAPOLIS -- Some of the younger players on the Indianapolis Colts' roster were on top when it came to performance bonuses.

The NFL released its performance-based pay list on Wednesday and offensive lineman Joe Haeg was the Colts' leader when it came to earning bonus pay. Haeg, who started 14 of the 15 games he played last season, will take home $276,028.14. The top five players on the list were all first- or second-year players for the Colts.

The performance-based pay allows lower-salaried players to earn bonus money based on their playing time and performance. Each team paid out $3.995 million plus an additional $1 million to non-rookies.

Here’s a look at the top-five players for the Colts:
