INDIANAPOLIS -- I touched on how the Indianapolis Colts need to have a bounce-back draft this year (minus a first-round pick so far) last week. I was asked later in the week how many snaps each draft pick, especially offensive lineman Khaled Holmes, had.
Holmes is the mystery player of all the draft picks because the Colts selected him in the fourth round and they had countless production and injury issues on the line. He was still inactive list for nine games. Serious warning flags need to be thrown in the air if Holmes couldn't get on the field with all the issues the Colts had with that group.
Since we’re in the process of putting a close on the 2013 season, here’s a look at the snap count and how many games started by each player the Colts drafted last season. Safety John Boyett, who was selected in the sixth round, is not on the list because he was released before the first game of the season after he was arrested in downtown Indianapolis.
