KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- More progress Tuesday from Kansas City Chiefs nose tackle Dontari Poe. He didn't practice, but he was at the session for the first time since having surgery to remove a herniated disk from his back in July.
This comes one day after coach Andy Reid opened the possibility Poe could return for the start of the regular season.
That's Dontari Poe at practice. He didn't work but the fact he was on sideline is progress pic.twitter.com/UAr1otC0n1

That seems unlikely. Poe has to not only recover from surgery but get himself into football shape.
Still, Reid's comments plus Poe's attendance at practice would seem to indicate he will return for the Chiefs at some point this season. The question is when.
