Marcus Peters up, Jah Reid down in Chiefs victory

DENVER -- A look at Kansas City Chiefs' players who were “up” and those who were “down” Sunday’s 29-6 win over the Denver Broncos:

UP

Cornerback Marcus Peters: The rookie set the tone with an interception of Peyton Manning on the game’s third play. The Chiefs went on to score a touchdown to take an early lead and would get four more interceptions.

Linebacker Justin Houston: He was a relentless presence. He had two sacks and three hits on the Denver quarterbacks.

Kicker Cairo Santos: He hit all five of his field-goal attempts. He also made seven attempts in an October game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Of the five times a kicker has had five or more field goals in a game this season, Santos has two.

DOWN

OT Jah Reid: He had an unnecessary roughness penalty in the second quarter that killed a promising drive.
