Chiefs' Andy Reid to skip NFL combine because of knee replacement surgery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid will not attend the NFL scouting combine that begins next week in Indianapolis because of knee replacement surgery, a source said.

Reid, who turns 58 in March, had knee replacement surgery last year. That surgery forced him to miss the Senior Bowl in Alabama in January. He did attend the combine, though he was moving around with the help of a cane.
