Poll results: It's WR, by large margin

You've spoken in our ESPN poll about what the Kansas City Chiefs should do with their first-round pick and the margin isn't even close. As of Tuesday morning, 66 percent of voters think the Chiefs should draft a wide receiver. How about that? We agree on something.

Because of the Chiefs' needs at the position, the choice of a wide receiver isn't surprising. But the margin of victory is interesting. Because of the way the pass defense played the last half of last season, I expected more votes for cornerback or free safety. Because the Chiefs lost three regulars off their offensive line in free agency, I expected that position to be a stronger consideration for your votes.

But, as of now, offensive line received just 13 percent of the votes with both safety and corner at eight percent. The other position listed, defensive line, received five percent of the votes.

We'll conduct another poll shortly, giving you some options with regard to wide receivers who should be available to the Chiefs with the 23rd pick.
