The Kansas City Chiefs didn't get the wide receiver so many of their fans wanted in the first round -- or any round -- of this year's draft. But fear not. For those with ESPN Insider access, draft analyst Todd McShay has a 2015 mock draft posted.
Yes, he has the Chiefs taking that elusive wide receiver. To order his draft, McShay deferred to Football Outsiders, who gave every team a win-loss record. For the Chiefs, that was 7-9.
So they're picking 14th in this mock draft, and McShay gives them Florida State's Rashad Greene, who caught 76 passes and scored nine touchdowns for the national champion Seminoles last season. He had a big game in the championship meeting against Auburn, catching nine passes for 147 yards.
Greene might make a great pro, but he's only 6-0 and 180 pounds. Chiefs general manager John Dorsey prefers bigger receivers, one reason the Chiefs passed in the first round this year on USC's Marqise Lee, who is of similar size.
McShay has two receivers selected before Greene in his mock, Alabama's Amari Cooper and USC's Nelson Agholor. He has one other receiver going in the first round, that being Arizona State's Jaelen Strong.
