Rams CB Lamarcus Joyner sits out Thursday practice

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- All things considered, the St. Louis Rams are relatively healthy, at least when it comes to the players on the active roster. Through Thursday afternoon, the Rams have only four players on their injury report.

But of those four, nickel cornerback Lamarcus Joyner is the most important and also the one whose status might be the most up in the air. Joyner is dealing with a back issue and was downgraded from limited participation on Wednesday to not participating on Thursday. That means the Rams will have to keep an eye on him Friday and hope to have him available Sunday against Seattle.

It's unclear how the Rams would reconfigure in the secondary if Joyner is unavailable.

Here's the full Thursday injury report:

Did not participate -- CB Lamarcus Joyner (back), CB Eric Patterson (ankle), OL Andrew Donnal (knee).

Full participation -- WR Bradley Marquez (knee).
