Angels scouts rack up miles

The Angels continued to focus on college talent in Day 3 of the draft. Of their 25 picks, all but two were from four or two-year colleges.

The most surprising aspect of the Angels' draft is that they have yet to take a player from California. One name that stands out: pitcher Kenneth Hatcher from Dallas Baptist. He's the nephew of recently fired Angels hitting coach Mickey Hatcher.
